The strongest current trend in the specialty of endodontics is the development of minimally-invasive concepts, tools and procedures.
The reinvention of endodontic instrumentation and 3D obturation has preceded us so far, leaving the final leg of conventional rootcanal therapy -Irrigation - to be improved. New science and technology are applied to the most important part of endodontic therapy.
Steven Buchanan's presentation will dissect the debate about 'Ninja' access cavities, leaving attendees with a firm understanding of where tooth structure can be easily preserved without needless costs of convenience form or the treated tooth's structural integrity.
He will demonstrate through clinical footage how newly designed rotary files can be used to negotiate canals as the first file to length, eliminating the majority of hand file negotiation procedures. In this course Stephen Buchanan will also elucidate strategies for single-file shaping.
